Strawberry NFC Juice or Strawberry Juice Concentrate

Strawberries or as their latin taxonomy Fragaria Rosaceae suggests are a flowering plant from the Rose family. The name Strawberry originates from the work straw because originally they were used as a mulch in cultivating the plants and they are distinct in that their seeds are visible from the outside. They are therefore a false fruit. The seeds themselves are technically the fruit and the fleshy part that we eat is merely a receptacle. They are whitish-green when they develop and turn red when ripe.

In addition to being consumed fresh as a beverage, strawberries can be frozen from desserts, made into preserves, as well as dried and used in things such as cereal bars. Strawberries are a popular addition to dairy products, in strawberry flavoured ice cream, milkshakes, smoothies and yoghurts.
