E.E. & Brian Smith are a supplier of lots of stone fruit products with the most popular being Apricot and Peach. The Apricot crop is here in Spain and Greece and the Peach crop will follow on in July.
We can supply a wide range of products including Puree, Juice both Concentrate and Not from Concentrate, Halves, Dice and Pulp to name a few in the Aseptic offering. We can also supply canned products in both retail and food service can sizes.
This year the European crop for Apricot is stable up around 2% compared to the 2018-2022 average. Spanish production has increased whereas Greece production is down compared to last year.
For the Peach crop the European crop is stable and up 1% compared to last year with no change in Greece and an 8% increase in Spain.
As always stable weather with no hail is vital for the crop especially towards harvest. Please keep your fingers crossed!
