We often share photos of the Sales Team out visiting suppliers or at trade shows, but we thought it would be nice for you to put names to faces for some of the other members of the E.E. & Brian Smith team!
The Logistics Team is lead by Michele Pocock who has worked at the company for over 40 years. Working alongside her are Rachel Jackson, Stuart Ray and Cheryl Stokes and between them they organise all the shipments of products from around the world into the different factories and stores in the UK.
They sort out all the paperwork and shipments in the most cost-effective way meaning all you need to do is order what you require with as much lead time as possible, and the product will be delivered to your door!
We also have the ability to store products here in UK on your behalf (frozen/chilled or ambient stores) ready for immediate call off if you are not big enough for full loads or the product comes from too far away for short notice deliveries or alternatively products can be shipped direct door to door from suppliers to your nominated premises in full container loads for those customers big enough to handle these sort of volumes.
Outside of work all the team keep busy with Michele spending time with her family and friends, Rachel baking lots of yummy cakes, Cheryl taking part in Pilates classes and Stuart plays and watches football which is great with the Euros being on!
As ever they are always available if you have any issues with deliveries or you have a last minute orders that you need to fulfil!
