National Prosecco Day!
Did you know 13th August is National Prosecco Day!
Prosecco is a light, crisp Italian varietal sparking wine which is delicate and refreshing with lemon and citrus notes. It is known of being dry or extra dry sparkling wine with a pale straw colour.
Prosecco is produced from the Glera grape variety and is grown in northeast Italy principally in Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions of north of Venice.
Prosecco has gained popularity as it is affordable alternative to Champagne for special occasions. It is often used in Cocktails including Bellini’s and Aperol Spritz.
