E.E. & Brian Smith are a supplier of Apricot Dice it is sourced from Spain and the season for sourcing is very short and only happens once a year in June. The climate is much more desirable here for growing Apricots as it is nice and sunny!
The blooming period is very important for the Apricot trees as this is where the fruit develops on the tree. If a hailstorm or frost happens during this time it could ruin all the fruit on the tree.
Apricot Dice is produced by using ripe apricots which are then cut into the certain size dice, which is required, then pasteurised. It is treated with as little heat as possible to give a nice fresh tasting product. The product is Aseptic to give a long shelf life (18 months). It is packed Aseptically in either Drums or Bag in Boxes and the drum are 215kg and Bag in Boxes are 25kg in size.
