E.E. & Brian Smith are a supplier of Apricot Puree Concentrate. We source majority  from Greece other countries of origin include South Africa, Italy, Turkey, Argentina and Chile.

It is manufactured by pressing ripe apricots, blending the fruit and putting the juice through the evaporation process. This means the juice is concentrated and you can ship reduced volumes which helps save costs. It can be re-diluted back to single strength juice at your factory if required.

The product is Aseptic to give a long shelf life (18 months) however the heat treatment is short to ensure the it has a fresh taste.

The Brix level is normally 30-32 on the Apricot Puree Concentrate which we source from Greece and is packed Aseptically into drums which are normally 235kg.

Apricot Puree Concentrate is used in lots of different applications in the UK Food Industry. Applications include –

  • Jam
  • Sauces
  • Drinks

Our Apricot Puree Concentrate is sourced from a BRC (or equivalent) factory. We have been working with this factory for a long time as their agent within the UK.

Question – Does Apricot Puree Concentrate contain any added sugar?

Answer – It does not contain any added sugar. All the sugar present in the Puree Concentrate is natural and has come from the fruit.

Question – When is the season to purchase Apricot Puree Concentrate?

Answer – The season to purchase from Greece is June and the season in South Africa is different and runs from December – January. This is when pricing is competitive, and you can secure volumes for the whole year.
