E.E. & Brian Smith are a supplier of Apricot Puree Concentrate. We source majority of our Apricot Puree Concentrate from Greece. Other countries of origin include South Africa, Italy, Turkey, Argentina and Chile.
Apricot Puree Concentrate is manufactured by pressing ripe apricots, blending the fruit and putting the juice through the evaporation process. This means the juice is concentrated and you can ship reduced volumes which helps save costs. It can be re-diluted back to single strength juice at your factory if required.
The product is Aseptic to give a long shelf life (18 months) however the heat treatment is short to ensure the Apricot Puree Concentrate has a fresh taste.
The Brix level is normally 30-32 on the Apricot Puree Concentrate which we source from Greece and is packed Aseptically into drums which are normally 235kg.

Answer – The Apricot Puree Concentrate we source does not contain any added sugar. All the sugar present in the Puree Concentrate is natural and has come from the fruit.

Answer – The season to purchase Apricot Puree Concentrate from Greece is June. The season in South Africa is different and runs from December – January. This is when pricing is competitive, and you can secure volumes for the whole year.
