Blood Orange is a type of Orange with a crimson flesh which is often referred to as almost blood coloured. The flesh of the Orange is dark due to the presence of anthocyanin. Blood Oranges have a distinct taste to other Oranges and are often referred to as having a Raspberry taste.
We can source two types of Blood Orange Oil, both Cold Pressed and a blend of Cold Pressed and Refined.
Oil is obtained by the mechanical pressing of the Blood Orange peel and then centrifuged. The oil is filtered and drummed for shipping. The oil contains a high level of aroma.
We source all our Blood Orange Oil from our supplier in Sicily. You are can declare Sicilian or your packaging.
