E.E. & Brian Smith are a supplier of Blueberry Puree. It is manufactured by using pressing ripe blueberries into a Puree and then goes through the pasteurisation process. The product is subjected to as little heat as possible to ensure it tastes fresh and not cooked.
It can be supplied with or without seeds depending on your preferences.
We source the majority of our Blueberry Puree from Spain and the UK. If sourced from the UK, you can label the product as ‘British’ which lots of customers like to add to their product labels.
We can supply Blueberry Puree in three different formats –
- Conventional
- Organic
- Baby Food
It is normally supplied Aseptic in Drums or Bags in Boxes and is often used in the following applications by our customers –
- Smoothies
- Bakery
- Ice Cream and Sorbets
- Baby Food
We always source our Blueberry Puree from suppliers which are BRC (or equivalent) approved and have also been audited by our own in-house technical team.

Answer – The shelf life is 12 months from production date. .
Question – Is Blueberry Puree good for Baby Food?
Answer – Yes, we can source a Baby Food grade puree which is perfect due to its smooth texture. It is good to mix with other soft fruit purees such as Strawberry.
Question – When is best to purchase Blueberry Puree?
Answer – It is best to purchase your annual requirements in July as this is when Blueberries are in season and will ensure pricing is most competitive. It also means there is more availability on some of the more niche lines such as Baby Food and Organic grade.
