E.E. & Brian Smith are a supplier of Pear Puree. It is produced by using ripe pears which have been smashed into a puree then pasteurised. It is treated with as little heat as possible to give a good tasting product. As the product is Aseptic it gives it a long shelf life (18 months). We can offer two packaging types either Drums or Bag in Boxes.

We can supply the Pear Puree in three different types –

  • Organic
  • Baby Food Grade

We source our Pear from Spain however other countries of origin are available if required. We can also offer varietals such as Williams Pear which is good for speciality products.

Pear Puree is used in lots of different applications in the UK Food Industry. Applications include –

  • Yoghurts

Our Pear Puree is sourced from BRC (or equivalent) factories. We have been working with these factories for a long time as their agent within the UK.

Answer – Yes, we can source Baby Food grade for this line which is perfect due to its smooth texture. It is good to mix with other fruit purees such as Apple.

Question – When is best to purchase Pear Puree?

Answer – It is best to purchase your annual requirements is September – November as the when Pears are in season and will ensure pricing is most competitive. It also means there is more availability on some of the more niche lines such as Baby Food and Organic grade.
