E.E. & Brian Smith are a supplier of Raspberry Puree. It is produced by using ripe raspberries which are smashed to form a puree, then pasteurised. It is treated with as little heat as possible to give a fresh tasting product.
We can supply Raspberry Puree with or without seeds depending on the product you are looking to produce. Some customers like the seeds for added texture within their product however others prefer a smoother product.
The packaging format is Aseptic 215kg drums however 25kg Bag in Boxes are often popular with smaller customers who do not have the room for the large Aseptic drums. We recommend keeping Raspberry Puree chilled to maintain the colour on the puree this is especially important in the summer.
Aseptic Raspberry Puree can be supplied in three different formats: –
- Standard
- Organic
- Baby Food Grade
British Raspberry Puree is very popular as customers can declare ‘British’ on their packaging and label. We can also supply ‘Scottish’ Raspberry Puree if needed too. We source our British Raspberry Puree from two different factories one in the East of England and one from Scotland.
The growing season for Raspberries is becoming longer each year both in the UK and Spain. The out grade fruit from the fresh market is used to make the puree.
Main uses for Raspberry Puree include –
- Smoothies
- Jam
- Ice Cream
- Baby Food
- Yoghurts
