At E.E. & Brian Smith we source a huge portfolio of ingredients from across the world and we specialise in a range of Retail and Foodservice friendly Pickled Products.
We source Gherkins in a wide range of sizes and cuts from cocktail, medium, large, diced, sandwich slice, spears and Dill chips (coin sliced), we also add flavourings and spices to meet market requirements.
Beetroot which is locally grown and packed early in the season to give a final product at its sweetest and best, again we offer the full range including Baby Beets, straight cut and crinkle cut and shredded.
Silverskin Onions are offered in a wide range of sizes from Cocktail upwards again these are sourced locally and packed in season to capture the fullest flavour and crisp texture. We can add arrange of different spices and flavours to meet customer’s requirements and offer a wide range of different pickling vinegars.
We can offer a wide range of different Olives both Green and Black, whole, pitted and sliced and pimento stuffed.
We can offer a range of sweet pickles, chutneys and relishes in particular Piccalilli.
We can also offer many other types of pickled products including Cauliflower, Beansprouts, Carrot, Red Cabbage, Capers, Celery/Celeriac, Eggs, Sauerkraut, Peppercorns, and both Sweet and Sour Mixed Pickles.

What pickled vegetables can I buy?
We can offer Whole, Sliced and Diced Gherkins, Cucumbers, Silverskin Onions, Sliced Beetroot, Whole and Sliced Carrots, Sauer Kraut, Red Cabbage, Bean Sprouts and Pickled Mixed Salads.
What pack formats can I have?
You can have either glass Retail jars in a variety of shapes/sizes, 1.5kg or 2.4kg PP plastic jars, 10 litre cans or 2.5kg plastic pouches.
Where are my products packed?
They are packed at 2 factories in The Netherlands, one in Ossendrecht, the other in Bergen Op Zoom.
Can I have a bespoke label?
A bespoke label is entirely possible but might be subject to MOQ’s. Equally, packing without a label if unnecessary is possible.
What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
Provided we have the item in stock, our MOQ is generally 1 pallet. If the product is to a bespoke recipe or label (see above), then this can be higher but will depend upon the circumstances.
Can I get trade credit?
We can offer you credit, subject to suitable, successful credit checks.
What is the lead time on these ingredients?
If in stock, the lead time is generally 1 week after your order has been processed. If out of season or a bespoke line, the lead time might be longer. Please note that most of these lines are produced in-season. It might be possible that product will not be available again until the next crop.
