Peach NFC Juice, Puree or Peach Juice Concentrate
Peaches come from the family Prunus persica and are stone fruits with a yellow or whitish flesh, a delicate aroma, and a velvety skin. Although it is now known peaches originated from China, they were first believed to be native to Persia (Iran).
White fleshed peaches are popular across Asia and are typically very sweet with little acidity, whereas the yellow-fleshed peaches favoured by Europeans and North Americans have a slightly acidic tang coupled with sweetness. Modern day producer countries include Argentina, Chile, Italy, Spain, Greece and South Africa. E.E. & Brian Smith sources it's peach products from both Iberfruta in Spain and Aspis in Greece.

Interesting Facts
- Peach trees are relatively short-lived compared with some other fruit trees. In some regions orchards are replanted after 8 to 10 years, while in others trees may produce satisfactorily for 20 to 25 years or more, depending upon their resistance to diseases, pests, and winter damage.
- Nectarines look different from peaches, having a completely smooth skin and more vivid colouring. The nectarine is a spontaneous occurring variant of the peach, and is not, as is often believed, a cross between a peach and a plum.
