E.E. & Brian Smith are a supplier of Plum Pulp. It is produced by using ripe plums which have been smashed so the product is thicker than a puree, then pasteurised. It is treated with as little heat as possible to give a nice, fresh tasting product. Once produced it is normally supplied in Aseptic Drums or Bag in Boxes.

We source the majority of our Plum Pulp from Spain. We can supply it in the following grades –

  • Conventional
  • Organic
  • Baby Food

Plum Pulp can be used in a wide variety of different applications in the UK food industry including –

  • Fruit Compotes
  • Baby Food
  • Pie Fillings

Plum Puree is thin and viscous whereas Plum Pulp has more texture and larger pieces of fruit can be seen which makes it more suited to these products.

We can source two different colours of Plum Pulp both Red and Green depending on which you prefer.

Our Plum Pulp is sourced from a BRC (or equivalent) factory. We have been working with this factory for a long time as their agent within the UK.
