On Sunday 16th July it was National Ice Cream Day! To celebrate this day, we have made some Strawberry Ice Cream using Strawberry Puree from our supplier Iberfruta. We hope you enjoy making this recipe at home –

Ingredients –

  • 300ml Double Cream
  • 200ml Condensed Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 400g Strawberry Puree or make your own using Strawberries

Method –

  1. If using strawberry puree please ignore this step. Tip the strawberries into a bowl and mash/blend until smooth and add 1 tsp vanilla extract.
  2. Pour the cream and condensed milk into a bowl and whip until soft peaks.
  3. Mix the cream/condensed milk mixture and the strawberry puree together.
  4. Pour into lolly moulds or a freeze proof container. Freeze for at least 5 hours.
